FIRE HYDRANT

A fire hydrant is a crucial connection point to a pressurized water supply, allowing firefighters rapid access to water for extinguishing fires, providing a vital component of public fire safety infrastructure. These devices, also known as fireplugs, connect to underground water mains, delivering high-pressure water through hoses when activated by a special wrench, and are designed as either dry-barrel (for cold climates) or wet-barrel (for warm areas). Beyond firefighting, they are used for flushing water lines, system testing, and even street cleaning.
  • Wet Pillar Fire Hydrant
  • Dry Pillar Fire Hydrant
  • Wet Barrel Fire Hydrant
  • Foam Fire Hydrant

Pillar fire hydrant emerges from below ground level in column shape, and is to supply water to firefighting equipment. For wet pillar fire hydrant, it is normally used in nonfrozen areas and the column remains full of water.

  • Certificate: ISO
  • Standard: BS EN 14384, EN 1074-6
  • Connection: Base flanged as EN 1092-2 PN 16, ASME B16.5 Class 150, etc.
  • W. pressure: 16 bar / 20 bar
  • Temperature: 4°C to 70°C
  • Surface: Red powder coating (RAL 3000)

Pillar fire hydrant emerges from below ground level in column shape, and is to supply water to firefighting equipment. For dry pillar fire hydrant, it is used in cold areas and the column empties automatically when the main valve is closed.

  • Certificate: LPCB Approved
  • Standard: BS EN 14384, EN 1074-6
  • Connection: Base flanged as EN1092-2 PN16
  • Buried depth: Standardized 800 mm, available with 600 ~ 1450 mm
  • W. pressure: 16 bar
  • Temperature: -10°C to 82°C
  • Surface: Red powder coating (RAL 3000) + black bituminous

Wet barrel fire hydrant is used in areas where the climate is mild and no danger of freezing weather. It has outlets equipped with an individual valve and the hydrant interior always has pressurized water.

  • Certificate: UL Listed / FM Approved
  • Standard: UL 246, FM1511, AWWA C503
  • Connection: Base flange as B16.1 Class 125, B16.5 Class 150, B16.42 Class 150, EN1092-2 PN16
  • W. pressure: 250 psi / 300 psi
  • Temperature: -10°C to 80°C
  • Surface: FBE coating AWWA C550

Foam fire hydrant
is used to quickly get foam solution from its inlet at fire protection area. It has two outlets equipped with individual valve and the hydrant interior always has pre-mixed foam solution.

  • Certificate: ISO
  • Standard: Refer to NFPA 14, GB 20031
  • Connection: Based flanged as EN1092 PN16, ANSI Class 150, etc.
  • Material: Cast iron or SS barrel, brass or SS ball valve with cap and chain
  • W. pressure: 16 bar
  • Temperature: -10°C to 80°C
  • Surface: Red powder coating (RAL 3000)
